Petition cycling laws enfocred/more serious
More details
There is not an actual law for cyclists to use cycle lanes, which is absurd, what is the point in spending our tax money on building them, if cyclists do not actually have to use them.
More strict laws need to be put in place so they are forced to use cycle lanes when available. There should be more severe punishments for dangerous riding, for example going through red lights. This may seem daft and over the top, however i drive for a living, some cyclists ride in a ridiculous fashion. The day me or one of my colleagues hit one of these we loose our jobs, homes, and are sent to prison, all because a cyclist is riding dangerously, which we cannot control.
I want the goverment to improve laws, administer harsher punishments, and enforce the laws.
