To restore confidence in Government we need to have complete transparency of all government communications and budgets excluding citizens personal data and data relating to issues of genuine national security. The line between that which should be made public and that which needs to be kept secure needs to be defined so that the electorate can take advantage of new technologies to differentiate between the good and the bad in the system, and know that their personal information is safely secured in a clear, well-defined way.
