Rejected petition No payments to mps for second homes

Thousands of workers in this country are forced to work away from their homes and families in order to earn a wage. These people pay for their own 'digs'.

Lorry drivers sleep in a 3ft wide bunk and wake up to drive a 58 tonne truck and work for upto 15 hrs the next day. They receive receive £25 pound expenses for this.

Students pay rent, nurses pay rent. SEVERELY DISABLED PEOPLE PAY RENT.

MP's should not receive any expense payments for their second homes; 1 bedroom government owned accomodation should be made available to them; for which the MP should pay rent.
