Closed petition Education and care surrounding Type One Diabetes

.As a parent of a child with Type1 Diabetes,and as the owner of both an adults and children's support group for families affected by Type1 Diabetes,I feel strongly enough to raise issues with the Govt re the inconsistent care given to diabetics,from the time of diagnosis and also re management of the condition.What is clear is that many children,are still being misdiagnosed, resulting in A&E admittance,This signifies to me, a great lack of knowledge is prevalent within the medical profession,Society in general needs better education re symptoms of Type One.I call upon you, to raise this issue, and to invest financial support,to stage some kind of Health Awareness campaign.Highlight the very concerning discrimination still faced by many children and adults with Diabetes,in both Education and Work Place settings, peoples needs are dismissed,and care plans fail,this causes a massive impact on Physical and emotional well-being.
