Petition HS2, Rethink & Reschedule to Pay off UK's/Government's Debts
More details
The new HS2 proposal must be stopped, re-thought about & rescheduled, until our Country's/Governments debts are paid off.
WHY ARE THEY CONCENTRATING ON SPENDING £44.3BN ON HS2 INSTEAD OF PAYING OFF THE COUNTRY'S DEBT.
All the money they are willing to spend on HS2, should be used to pay off the debt our country is in, this will either end or work towards ending recession & most other problems the country is in at the moment, & will stop them having to make cuts to everything & raising taxes.
HS2 profit will take 60yrs to come through, & the project will cause more debt.
The Government needs to think about:
1. The debt our country has.
2. The people that will use HS2 due to high cost compared to a regular train.
3. How many people will use HS2 in the country compared to how many wont.
4. That it will likely be outdated by time it's built.
5. How many people will need rehousing.
6. Why they can't build it along side the tracks already in place for regular trains.
