After all the years of stupid ill thought out policies etc, causing successive goverments to do u-turns, I petition that the goverment employs a common sense advisor, someone not linked to any party, and independent from the goverment. To look at future plans and proposals and just give an honest,common sense approach to advise on what the general public may think of the plans or proposals, example, the so called pasty tax, just made the goverment look stupid, which makes the country look stupid.
