PLANS FOR AN ENERGY PARK ON PCC FARMLAND COULD DESTROY FOOD SOURCES AND HABITATS FOR OWLS, DATA HELD ON BARN OWLS IN RECOVERY FOR 20YEARS IS FUNDED BY PETERBOROUGH CITY COUNCIL AND TAXPAYERS MONEY. THIS IS THE ONLY PROGRAMME IN THE COUNTRY TO COLLECT THE DATA OF OUR BARN OWLS.THESE BIRDS ARE A BEAUTIFULL SIGHT ACROSS THE COUNTRYSIDE SEEN BY YOUNG AND OLD. BARN OWLS ARE USED TO FORM THE QUALITY OF LIFE INDEX AS INDICATED BY THE GOVERNMENT,WE FEEL WE NEED THE GOVERNMENTS ASSISTANCE IN THIS MATTER TO HELP US PROTECT THE OWL SPECIES AND SAVE OUR COUNTRYSIDE FORM THESE PROPOSED ENERGY PARK PLANS
