Let's green away the grey!

We're working together to improve Piccadilly Gardens by growing vertical gardens on the ugly concrete walls.

• Create a beautiful environment for people to enjoy.

• Establish a modern cultural landmark for Manchester’s growing tourist market.

• Soften the appearance of Piccadilly Gardens and making it more inviting as a place to meet.

• Improve air quality next to the busy transport interchange.

• Help capture carbon, filter pollution and create a habitat for birds and bees.

• Teach children the value of the natural world among man-made environments.

We call on the Local Government to work with stakeholders and businesses to enable this initiative to be undertaken, in order to benefit the city's environment and economy.
