MPs should be paid 'the average salary' so they understand what it is like for normal people to live in this country.

They choose to do the job not for the pay - or at least this shouldn't be why the choose to be an MP! - but to serve their constituents.

All expenses should be paid in full for their offices, staff, travel, etc., in the same way everyone else claims expenses; if its a valid expense then it should be paid.
