An e-petition to lobby the Department of Transport to reduce rail-fares by 5% by the next autumn statement and set in motion a series of decreasing fares for those travelling 'off-peak' journeys, on 'anytime' returns and those commuting daily.

The current rail fares in this country are extortionate and the service offered does not live up to the standard expected when such high fares are being paid.

As the current service continues it is necessary that rail fares be decreased in order to help everyday commuters and regular weekend travellers do their journey's with money left over.
