The government should set up an independent Registration Body for NHS managers, to license managers working in the NHS. Negligent, incompetent or bullying NHS managers could then be disciplined by this body, following a hearing, by having their licence to manage suspended or withdrawn, and thus be barred from working further in the NHS.
