We the undersigned request that HM Government, in accordance with its values of freedom from undue State intervention and civil liberty, establish a cross-party Commission; including representatives of the Law Commission, legal academia and members of the public, with the purpose of laying down a Constitution. This Constitution, similar to that of the USA among other nations, would be the fundamental and overriding basis of all law, and should include specific provisions on the roles of the executive, Parliament, and the court system.
