Tax me when I'm dead rather than when I'm alive!

Income taxes, VAT, stamp duty, customs duty are all taxes that suppress the economy as they punish work, profit, spending etc.

On the other hand, those that build up great wealth are well qualified to administer their wealth, to all our benefit. But no such argument can be made for their inheritors. Their children may be effective individuals, rather than slovenly wasters, but there is no reason economically that they would be more effective than anyone else in managing their inheritance.

Isn't this, after all, why we are in the currently crisis; that those with wealth have managed their money poorly.
