In response to the article in the Blackpool Gazette regarding the governments intervention of the planning permission being signed off. The article is here http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/lifestyle/rink-on-thin-ice-after-government-steps-in-1-5432981 We are wanting to show our support for the rink and the potential for future local olympic sportsman/women.

Also bringing a much needed leisure facility for Bispham and the surrounding area and with the number 16, 9 and 3 bus service operating from the town centre to within five minutes from the rink location, giving holiday makers the potential to enjoy recreational skating and also the possibility of ice hockey games and figure skating displays.

I am calling for the government to approve the plans for the above mentioned ice rink
