The practice of not giving change from parking machines is purely an excuse to get more money out of the motorist and should be made illegal.

In a time when parking technology is getting more and more sophisticated with the likes of number plate recognition, there is absolutely no excuse for new payment meters to not give change. This could be either directly via giving change or a credit slip for use next time you park.
