Many diabetics are being refused testing equipment on prescription, i.e. blood/glucose testing meters, lancets and test strips, N.I.C.E. guidelines say all diabetics using medication to control diabetes should have access to self testing blood/glucose equipment, SO WHY ARE SOME DOCTORS REFUSING THIS NECESSARY EQUIPMENT? Surely it is cheaper to prescribe equipment than it is to treat a diabetic in hospital
