Rejected petition Make all MPs live on JSA/other benefits for at least one month

With cuts hitting the poorest of the poor and government officials (MPs in particular) stating that ordinary people SHOULD somehow be able to live on the pitance they are provided with, I think the tables should be turned.

All MPs should spend at least one month living on an income that is the equivalent to JSA (as well as any other benefits should they be entitled to them). They should also have to sign on in the same manner as everybody else.

This way, they will truly experience the failing in the system and the flaws in their own arguments.
