Are you fed up of paying the cost of a second mortgage just to travel to work? How can it cost up to 25% of the cost of a monthly season ticket just to park at your railway station? Fares and the relentless above inflation rises cannot be justified when it is often now cheaper to drive to work.
The government should do everything in its power to make public transport affordable and a genuine alternative to the car. Nothing short of a full overhaul of this sector will suffice.
