Petition Make the BBC self financing and phase out the license fee.

1. It appears that the BBC is totally unable or unwilling to control it's expenditure.
2. It is a law unto it's self and refuses to control it's spending. It's about time it was opened up to market conditions and run by captains of industry and not artists and academics.
3. The world service should be protected.
4. Huge amounts of income is generated from program sales, the rest could be generated from program sponsorship.
5. It's about time the huge bonuses, pay off's and presenters salaries coming from the tax payers pocket stopped.
6. The £130 license fee I pay would be equivalent to an increase of £650 in my personnel tax allowance.
