Our government must ensure that money held in personal bank accounts of UK based banks and building societies will never be subject to any risk of being raided by one off taxes or levies of the type now being used in Cyprus.
To allow this to happen in the UK would be catastrophic, destroying any trust that may remain in any government of this country.
