This e-petition aims to bring forward consideration from the UK government to introduce a bill abolishing fees for UK citizenship for long term immigrants who have resided in the UK for over 15 years whilst also paying 12 years in tax.

In doing so we would reward those who contribute to our society, pay their fair share and seek to build a new home on our islands.

Moreover this will help install a sense of pride amongst those hard working long term immigrants who cannot afford the high prices asked for citizenship.

Should we not reward those who have helped make the UK a better place?.
