Closed Cheshire East Council must publish the DIP report

In 2011 Cheshire East Council undertook works in it's area (at Lime Green) without gathering planning permission. These works amounted to a cost of £800,000 to the taxpayer.

An investigation was undertaken by a Designated Independent Person (DIP) and following this 3 senior officers left (2 under compromise agreements receiving a payout).

It has since been revealed that the investigation cost a further £225,000.

The Council refuses to publish in full the report of the DIP.

The DCLG should force the Council to publish this report.
