As a result of documentary TV programmes, most of us are now aware of the abuse of truckers by clandestines desperate to reach the UK. This petitition requests that the Home Office:
1) Increase the number of trucks stopped and searched rather than the current small sample.
2) Increase fines for drivers and owners.
3) Clearly identifies (photograph) the clandestines so that their activities may be taken into account in any subsequent asylum application.
