Rejected petition limit mp accomadation expenses to Housing Benefit shared accommodation rate
More details
If MP's expect under 35's to live in a single room in a shared house then there is no reason why MP's should not be limited in the same way (currently capped at £126.22/week in central London). After all the tax payer pays for it and MP's do have a home. Shouldn't they lead by example when they say "we are all in this together"
