Ian Duncan Smith (IDS) claims he could live off £53 a week if he had to. We believe he should do for a minimum of one year. This way IDS would learn with first hand experience about the lives of poorer people. This would enable him and the Government to make better informed decisions and policies about welfare sending priorities.
