Place all politicians in Local, National and European Office on the same basis as benefits claimants with the same conditions and levels of income attached to their financial wellbeing as are attached to benefits recipients.

Should there be confusion about the importance of this measure, this is not a debate about if Politicians ought to be treated as Claimants but a debate about how to implement the measure.

The measure should be put in place without any delay. To emphasise the importance of this measure, time should be scheduled without any delay - recalling Parliament to facilitate debate and voting.
