Rejected petition MPs should live their terms in office at the same level as the poorest in society

MPs are increasingly out of touch with the people of this country; with no conception of what it is like to live at the lowest end of society.

I feel that to really exercise their duty to serve the country in a far and positive way; they should live at the same level of the poorest of this country.

In this way we can both cut down the wage bills of MPs and attract the right sort of people to the office.
