Child Benefit was introduced as a post war incentive for people to have children, it is no longer neccessary and is not fit for purpose in current society.

I propose that any new application for child benefit for a person that already has 1 or more children to be declined.

The money saved could be used to further increase the minimum tax threshold for working people.
