Petition A radical overhaul of the Care System for the elderly suffering dementia illness in Hospitals, at Home and in Care Homes

A fundamental and radical review of the elderly dementia care system in the U.K. All aspects to be overhauled and reviewed including diagnosis, care at home, care in hospitals, care in nursing homes, care in care homes both private and NHS. The Dementia Family Group want the Government to set up a working party that will consider and review all aspects of dementia care for our elderly, including more and intensive training for professional Carers in care homes and in the community. Improvement to awareness of dementia illness in the U.K. Much better support for Carers at home. The proposed Working Party should include a selection of family members of sufferers of all types of dementia illness.
