Closed petition LABEL Religious Standard goods especially Ritually Slaughtered Meat and its bi-products.

Closed on

Many shoppers do not want meat that has been dedicated to a foreign god or unlabelled Religious Standard products that covertly profit a particular religion.
An open and transparent supply chain from farm to the consumers in any community is essential.
When retailers buy meat, they know how it was slaughtered - so why is this information not clearly passed on to customers?
We have a right to know what we are eating and to not be informed is a breach of my rights under the Human Rights Act 1998, Article 9 as in purchasing these products without my knowledge I am being forced to participate in religious ritual.
We should not have to rely on halal certification to inform non-muslims - The Government should ensure that ALL Ritually Slaughtered meat is clearly labelled eg. with two letters ‘RS’ whether stunned or unstunned , certified or uncertified. ‘RS’ can also signify Religious Standard products.
