This petition was submitted during the 2010-2015 parliament
Rejected petition Re-consider keeping British Summer Time all year round
More details
This was debated in Parliament, but was talked out even though the consensus from MPs was to move with the motion. Please can this be re-considered, as it will generate more jobs, reduce energy consumption, save lives and increase leisure time. It clearly makes no sense to have more daylight early in the morning when the majority of the population is in bed and dark evenings when we are awake.
