MP's salaries to be based on the average national wage.
MPs to have no other paid post during their time in parliament.
Upon leaving their position they will have undertaken not to take up employment of any kind within the private sector for the duration of the following parliament, but can instead claim the equivalent of an MP's salary during that time if not working elsewhere.
MP's pension arrangements to be in line with other public sector employees.
