Rejected petition We urge the University of Birmingham to be more respectful to local residents over the impact of parking and in recent development plans

More details

We urge a review of plans for the University of Birmingham's proposed new residential tower block in the Edgbaston Conservation Area.

We urge the the University of Birmingham to address parking issues in Edgbaston.

The University has failed to address the views of its neighbours and provide sufficient parking on its campus to meet the current and future demand.

We urge the University of Birmingham to provide infrastructure that reduces the pressure that it creates in residential roads in Edgbaston.

Local residents oppose the height, scale and impact that the proposed new 21-story tower block.

We petition the University to reconsider its recent plans and remove the proposed 21 story tower block, and concentrate on low rise blocks that open the whole site and remain below the tree line.

We urge the University not to build the proposed tower which will be a blight and an intrusion on many homes across Edgbaston, including many listed properties.
