Criminals should bear all costs associated with the investigation of their crime.
All costs accrued by Police investigating the crime and all other agency costs associated with investigation and prosecution should be accrued and charged to the offender.
If the criminal is unable to pay then the cost should be converted to extra time on their sentence (e.g £1000 = 1 extra week on their sentence).
Ensure that crime does not pay.

The Government should introduce changes to sentencing policy to pass the cost on to convicted criminals.
