Closed petition hgv /lgv Driver total working daily shift should be reduced from 15 hours to 12hours

In the interest of health and safety Hgv/Lgv Drivers are being planned a 15 hour day by many companies across the United Kingdom its time the government stepped in and changed the ruling to a maximum of 12 hours per shift, Please bear in mind that 15 hours work plus travelling to and from work, eating at home etc can add up to 17+ hours in most cases leaving very little time to rest, The 11 hours rest (by law) ends up being around 7 hours before back at work again, by the time you get to bed after leaving work, eating, showering etc.
