Rejected petition No public funding of police and security services operation to oversee Ceremonial funeral of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher

HM Government must re-assure the British Public, though Parliament, that the UK taxpayer will not fund any part above that of a normal public figure (i.e. former PM Harold Wilson -adjusted for historical inflation) the cost of the 'Ceremonial Funeral' planned for former Prime Minster Margaret Thatcher on Wednesday 17th April 2013. Furthermore, the HM Government will confirm that the funeral arrangements will therefore be no different to those of former 20th Century Prime Ministers in terms of public cost, with the exception of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
