Rejected petition No taxpayers money to be spent on Margaret Thatcher's funeral

We, the people of this country, object to any part of our taxes being spent on the funeral of Margaret Thatcher or indeed any Prime Minister or former Prime Minister. We insist that her funeral is paid for from her own money and/or her family's money as every other British citizen does. There is no constitutional basis for using public money for this purpose and it would therefore be illegal.
