Petition army pay

I am part of a group campaigning for an increase in pay and benefits for our countries armed forces personnel, we feel very strongly that these brave individuals whom are willing to put their lives on the line to safeguard our countries beliefs and to protect the vulnerable people throughout the world, whilst giving little or no concern for their personal safety and wellbeing. Surely this level of devotion to our country deserves better financial benefits than currently received. There are people in other public service roles that are considerably less risky and have much better working conditions earning far more than our armed service personnel. We appreciate that funding in difficult in the current economic climate, but feel very strongly as do many others that this matter deserves consideration.
