many chronic diseases get free prescription charges such as diabetes, yet patients with asthma have to pay for each prescription. non compliance with preventer inhalers due to financial constraints contributes to 2000+ asthma deaths per year. The other option for asthma pts is a prepayment certificate, this is not affordable for a lot of people.
