HM Government should request that the Football Association keep the kick-off of the FA Cup Final at 3pm on a Saturday so that (i) the tradition of the Cup is maintained, (ii) that fans have a chance to come to the game and get home on the same day, and (iii) that the Cup Final remains the defining event of the day, rather than another form of early evening light entertainment.
