Rejected petition Allow CCTV in Glasgow Taxis

I and the following co-signees request that Licenced taxis in Glasgow be allowed to use CCTV within the vehicle as an aid in crime prevention and to assist in the safety of taxi drivers and their vehicles whilst going about their day to day employment.
We believe that we have the right to work in a safe environment for both ourselves and that of our customers and we request that Glasgow City Council allow taxi operators to use this medium for our personal safety and that of our vehicles.
