Devolution is unworkable,very unfair and inimicable to the integrity of the United Kingdom.The whole devolution 'settlement' should be abolished and replaced with a better system.This involves repealing all the devolution acts of the Blair government.The Scottish parliament and the assemblies in Wales and Northern Ireland should be abolished.All power should be returned to the UK parliament in Westminster.Then,a system of administrative devolution,whereby powers were passed to non-national-level bodies(like local councils) could be began.In this way certain political decisions can be taken locally and the cohesiveness of the UK is safeguarded.
