Closed Is/has the Environment Agency damaged your business, is it damaging UK businesses for no environmental gain?

Do you or your business suffer from bullying, intimidation, over zealous policing, over charging of fees, poor service delivery, or any other problem associated with this quango?

We would like to see a truly independent watchdog introduced to oversee all aspects of the Environment Agency's activities!

Alternatively we would like to see the Environment Agency abolished, it's waste site policing powers devolved (as in Wales) to County, City or regional councils.

Issues regarding drainage should similarly be returned to local bodies.

Major national or international waste crime should be dealt with by specialists within the police service!

All national and regional offices could then be sold off where possible, to help fund the economic recovery that only businesses, not regulators, can generate.
