With the news that the BBC has lost its exclusive rights to the MotoGP world championship, another live sporting spectacle takes a hit after the country hosted the Olympics last year.

We the people wish that the government would look into increasing the provision of live televised sports, especially in the current climate of austerity where live venue tickets to such events can be a large percentage of one's daily earnings.
