This epetition is to gather support from the public to get the FA Cup final to be the last domestic football fixture of the season.

I recall back in the 80's and 90's, the FA Cup final was always the last domestic football fixture of the season, except for the play-offs, and it was also always played at 3.00pm on a Saturday.

However, it wasn't just any game of football - it was a full day event, with extensive coverage on the TV of not only the game, but also the road to Wembley and the build-up to kick off - it was a day every football fan looked forward to with anticipation and excitement.

We need to revert this fixture back to it's traditional position - as the final domestic game of the season.
