Rejected petition Life Sentence for Those who Kill Police - Why not for All?

I do not believe that life sentances for those who kill the police is the right way to go. It is indicationg that police are more valuable and worthy than others.

Instead why do we not make the life sentance mandatory for all murderers no matter who they murder?
