In Ireland Utility Companies are capped at making no more than 3% profits from Domestic Gas and Electricity consumers. Why Can we not have the same Cap in place which would drive down prices and force Energy companies to find more competitive ways to make profit rather than simply overcharging for something we all need to live.
the Government must limit the profit made from these companies to 3%.
