Crohns Disease and Ulcerative colitis (UC) are both inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
I have both crohns disease and UC so speak from personal experience.

Everyday i suffer from awful pain everytime i need the toilet, which normally means i have to crawl up the stairs as the pain is too severe.
The pain starts around 15 mins before i need the toilet and i can use the toilet up to 10 times a day, on a bad day i cant even leave the house.

Every day before i leave the house i have to asses what ive eaten, where im going, how long the journey will take, where the toilets are, if i have an "accident" am i able to leave quickly and discreetly, if i can park close to where im going and how far from the car i am.

The government unfortunately dont allow suffers with IBD to hold a "Blue badge".

A blue badge would help people with IBD to have a better quality of life and help them to do activities that other people take for granted, which i think the government need to review.
