Rejected petition Abolish the Monarchy and House of Lords

The system of 'Titles' is archaic and not in the public interest.
The House of Lords (HoL) does not fully represent the whole community. Those at the bottom of society have little say in the HoL.
The bias and emphasis for wealth, power and title contain a threat where members become out of touch as they lose touch with the ordinary citizen.
I propose the second house (Senate) as replacement for a modern Britain.
