Ingrid Loyau-Kennett, a 48-year-old cub scout leader, fearlessly faced down the two attackers in the Woolwich terror attack on 22nd May 2013.

Through her actions, she made sure that the two terrorists were arrested, and that no other people were injured.

She displayed the greatest heroism in extreme danger, despite having no protection or weapons of her own.

She is a British hero.
